Toothache

Toothache is a killer I can tell you... Its much worst than stomachache or any other aches that you can even imagine.. Someone told me its even worst than being in labour!

Poor me that's what is happening to me at the moment...
Had a long flight back and on the my way home I cant even have a single shuteyes! My tooth is aching so badly that each and everytime I kept asking for warm water .... Twisting and turning and getting up walking around and sitting down... trying to focus my mind on something else but nothing works!

Reached home and I thought to myself this is it! I cant stand it anymore... I had to do what I had to do... So i bathe and put on my blouse and pants and head out to search for a DENTIST! I just hate the sound to it even. I never like going to the dentist. When i was a little girl I had bad experience I would say and it haunts me right up till now... when I am at this age.. still.... how horrific is it to be thinking of going to the dentist!

Since it's Chinese New Year... most of the Dentist Clinic are closed! I totally forgotten about that and that I am in Sabah and not KL! *sniffles* Called few of my friends... let see who I called... I called Sheila ( she was in Inanam at that time), called Maria (she was at MCA's Open House), msged Kay (she told me there's a place in lido but heck I dont know where LIDO is... but when i counter check with Sheila she said probably its closed cause its a chinese clinic), then called Mezanah (she said there's one at Api-Api center, and the other one near the Wisma Merdeka, texted Lucy (she is in Sandakan), called Lalitha (she is busy cleaning the house and no idea anywhere opened).... so I was sooooooooooooo lost! ... I braved myself and take a drive while the toothaching and on the hunt for the DENTIST Clinic...

First stop Api-Api center, went around and around and saw one dentist clinic but its totally shut! I was so frustrated and the throbbing feelings is getting horrifying...

So I drive on to Wisma Merdeka,... was in search for this dental surgery clinic but couldnt see it,... then went back to the main road... I thought i would go the other side to have a look .... but as I was on the main road... I looked to the right and saw SABAH DENTAL SURGERY... i thought that might be the one that Mezanah told me... so went about 2 rounds again before I found a parking spot.. parked my car and walked across the street...

Sabah Dental Surgery was located in Wisma Yakim , 1st floor. Gosh I thought alright its now or never. So went up to the place. Saw a group of guys standing at the counter waiting for percription i guess. Then i head one of the assistant said to the other guy - we are actually closed only those who are of emergency cases and who stayed here are accepted. At that time there's only one doc in. Her name is Dr. Siti Fatimah...

She turned to me and asked me my purpose of being there and I said, I need to get my tooth pulled out!
She asked the Dr. and thank god she said ok...
so I sat for abit... waiting in nervousness.. so many thoughts flying through my head at that time... *sighs*

Anyhow, when they called my name I nervously walked into the examination room... sat on the chair and the first thing I said would be, 'Dr. I hate having my tooth pulled out and Im scared but please, Let's get rid of the problem!"... She smiled and introduced herself to me and calmed me down.

If feels like forever to actually get the aneastethic to settled in before the numbness I felt...
Dr. Siti Fatimah is very much a gentle and generous personality Dr. Well mannered as well I would say. Each and everytime I opened my mouth for her to checked in she would ask persmission... I like that!! Not many Dr. are focused on patients thoughts...

It didnt take long before my tooth extracted... Ive asked for it and she told me I must have chipped it while eating something hard... so I guess she is right...

Anyhow, I guess - that place and her would be my dentist while im in Sabah for sure.. I wont trust people easily but I do trust her.

I wonder how many years to go before Im going to be a lady without any single tooth attached! LOL that would be nice to look at... like some old granny... to date Ive lost 2 teeth already.. sniffles... i dont want to lose anymore... from 33 now its 31 *grrr*

alrighty those of you who wanted to pay the dentist a visit I am recommending this dentist clinic..
