It was a mixture of every feelings that you can think of.... nervousness, excitement, sadness and happiness.... all mixed together...
Today marked the beginning of our Final Examination for this semester.... Gosh its that time again... You've been studying hard for the past 4 to 5 months and it's all come down to this each and ever semester....
As for always it started off with Mandarin...
This morning I truly am nervous about today's exam... It's just that I dont think I've revised enough and that I might not know what is that and what to answer or I might get blank in the middle of the examination... and all those kinda thoughts... you know how it is.... at this age and yet you still are a student... your mind is not as sharp when you are in your teens or your 20s...
It was a journey that we all have to - whether we like it or not- go thru it... and I think most of us today managed to get through it... Thank goodness.... I cant say I would again score an 'A' for it cause the format this time is rather different and I am definitely sure (as i am too a human being) that Ive made tons of mistakes... so getting an 'A' is hmmmmm i would say PERHAPS... if gods willing that is hehe...
Oh I forgotten to inform before the exam started earlier, we had the drama presentation... few groups and we are all equally good... but our group *ehem* been complimented by Laoshi... I guess because of the humourism that we inject into the scripts. And also we've been practicing a little if not alot.. so our pronunciation is rather OK :) woohoo I am feeling top of the hill when Laoshi complimented us! Xie Xie ni Laoshi...

Witty and Chyntia acting out their play... I think its about Witty being visited by a friend and she is sick.. then she went to the doctor ... or something like that...
Then comes this group... Gwen, Syra and Melly... they are friends who meets up and then plan for a picnic...
and look at the prop!!! apples... biscuits... and canvas hehehe... nice touch to it.. sure some extra marks there Laoshi?
Then its dayang and Ayie's turn to act it out... I am not sure what's it about I think its about two friends who met up and planning of something as well ... hehehe cant really hear it tho..
And of coz... the ever famous F3 out of F4.... Lucy, Lalitha and I.... The script contains 2 scene....
First Scene... would be at the breakfast table where My sister (Lucy) told my mother (Lalitha) that my birthday is soon to come... and that they planning to get me a present since I am coming home from studying abroad the next coming week...

And the 2nd Scene.... I was getting ready to go out on a date when I rung up my mother back home... and It has been awhile since the last we've spoken... and making some preparation for someone to fetch me when I am back....
Later on... I told her a secret... which is the funny part of this... I told her that I have a French Boyfriend named Allan and I would bring him back to meet her and the family...
Laoshi was very pleased with our drama play and said 'Hen Hao' (which means very good) and we are all so delighted... all the effort been put in and all the practicing... it paid off...
That is our ORAL EXAM... phewww...
That is our ORAL EXAM... phewww...
Can you not see all the happy yet nervous faces of us... all books on table lol... studying hard to make sure we succeed and score good marks!!! It's a foreign language to us anyway.. so we should and have to study hard and smart!
later on... we moved to another location... where the farewell luncheon had been planned since few months back!!!... this is it... its truly here... The end of the semester for Mandarin... :|
We then head off to @tmosphere, the revolving restaurant and bar/pub ooooh whatever they called it....
(those picture and more will be uploaded in the next blog) - keep a look out!
I guess life goes on... no matter what....
just hope for the best and strive for excellence... that is all we can do!
