Saying GoodBye Is Never An Easy Thing

Saying goodbye Is never an easy thing
But you never said  
That you´d stay forever.
 So if you must go,

That is what we did today... Saying goodbye to Our Beloved Mentor Madam Chin Kui Siam. Madam Chin decided she would venture out into the world and leave the beloved children of hers in Masterskills. However sad it might be, we have to face the music that it's her life she's leading and none others.

Classmates and all arrange a little farewell luncheon for her at the Student Resources Center. Eventhough its nothing lavish, but to me it is so meaningful. I was called to Emceed the function and asked to do an opening speech to show our appreciation to our beloved lecturer.

She was touched by it... and wanted me to post it up so that once in awhile she can visit the site and have a read at it... and it goes something like this ...

" Madam, first and foremost we would like to say that we love you and thank you. For the past almost a year we've been together and been here, you have showed us so much love and attention that's undivided. For that, we cherished you.

You are like a mother to us. Your guidance, your advices, your love and care makes us who are are today. You've molded us towards becoming a respectable and better person. All of us wants to achieve what you've achieved. All of us wanted to walk in your footsteps...

Madam,
Always love us, guide us and remain with us in our thoughts and prayers, so that we wont be misguided and went off track in achieving what we dream of.

Even though you will be gone from the institution, but you will never be forgotten... because You are YOU! ~~ The unique, lovable, adorable, cherish-able Mother to us! And as we all know the bond between mother and children will never be broken no matter how far apart they are.

Thank you again Madam for all that you have done for us. Know always that we love you. "

She stood up immediately after I said that... without me even inviting her to deliver her speech and she was so much in spirit in voicing her hopes and dreams for us... I do wish it will all come true...

Thanks to Madam Judy Benedicto as well who've worked hand in hand with us in making this a success luncheon... thanks Maam.. we love you!!
